The Lord Jesus Christ, the One and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary.  (Matthew 1:18-25) He is fully God and was fully man.  (Colossians 1:15-20) He is God's Anointed One, empowered by Holy Spirit to bring God's Kingdom near.  (Isaiah 61:1-3; Luke 4:16-21; Acts 10:38) He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, was resurrected by the power of God's Spirit, and ascended into heaven.  (Matthew 27:32-56; Matthew 28) He is alive today, in the presence of God the Father and in His people and He is making intercession for us as our permanent Priest.  (Romans 8:34; Acts 1:1-11; Ephesians 2:6-7; Hebrews 7:24-25) He has also been given a name that is higher and more honored than any other name.  (Philippians 2:1-11).
